Hound Havn marks the beginning of an ambitious project, designed in multiple stages to facilitate a gradual career transition. Unfortunately, the idea of abandoning everything to launch a business all at once is not possible.
Stage 1: Sale of selected products from my home, exclusively by appointment.
Stage 2: Progression towards a physical location, with limited opening hours.
Stage 3: Introduction of dog-dedicated services.
Stage 4: The culmination of the ”Haven”, a phase that symbolizes the complete flourishing of #houndhavn.

Founder & CEO
Currently a professional in occupational health and safety, I am enthusiastically returning to my first love: dogs. I worked for 10 years as an animal health technician, including 2 years in a reference center where I specialized in emergency care and dentistry.
My experience has expanded in small clinics where I developed expertise, even a true passion, for canine nutrition and behavior. The management of two veterinary hospitals motivated my return to studies, leading to the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
About two years ago, I discovered a new passion: competitive obedience, and my interest has extended to all other canine sports. This discipline has added a whole new dimension to my relationship with my dog.

At 3 and a half years old, Dexter has faced numerous challenges due to various skin conditions. His unique journey has shaped his strong personality.

This Rhodesian Ridgeback has been the founding inspiration for our mission. The search for products tailored to his robustness and imposing size proved to be a significant challenge. Despite the booming market for pet products, it seems that dogs of large breeds have been overlooked in terms of options suitable for their powerful jaws. The quest for quality nutrition, rich enough in calories and proteins to meet the specific needs related to their muscle mass and activity level, does not escape this reality. Furthermore, the significant increase in prices only adds to the constraints for owners.
